LASH CARE

** If you cannot bear to be bare the day of your appointment make sure you remove all makeup before you arrive.

before you LASH

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Depending on your desired Lash application the procedure could take anywhere from 60 minutes to 2 hours. The process of applying individual Eyelash Extensions is relaxing, so let all your cares and worries melt away and don’t worry if you fall asleep because it’s that relaxing.

WASH UP!

A Clean eye area is essential when applying Eyelash Extensions and we ask that you arrive to your appointment eye makeup free.

  • No mascara the day of your appointment.
  • No eyeliner the day of your appointment

AFTER YOU LASH

KEEP IT DRY!

For the first 24 hours it is recommended that you do not get the eye area wet because the glue is still drying. We advise washing your face with a damp cloth, and avoid all showers, saunas, steam rooms, intense workouts and facials. Instead, try a warm bath or wash your face with a damp cloth moving gently around the eye area but without touching your Eyelash Extensions.

EYE MAKEUP.

After the first 48 hours you can return to your normal makeup regime, even mascara. However, you cannot wear any waterproof mascara or other waterproof eye makeup products because it will greatly reduce the life of your eyelash extensions.

HOW LONG DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST?

Eyelash Extensions last between 4-6 weeks depending on the set amount you received. They will look full and plush for the first 2-3 weeks.

RELASH.

If you wish to keep up the appearance of your Eyelash Extensions you will need to have a refill every 3 weeks for individual lash extensions and every 5 weeks for Russian volume lash extensions.  This will maintain your eyelash extension fullness.

WAX

BEFORE YOU WAX.

A GOOD WAX IS ALL ABOUT LENGTH.

Make sure the area you are waxing is at least ¼ of an inch – this ensures a clean and smooth wax.

WE DON'T BELIEVE IN "NO PAIN, NO GAIN" WHEN IT COMES TO WAXING.

In an effort to keep your wax as painless as possible we recommend taking an Aspirin or Tylenol ** Can I legally say this Fuzz wax bar has it so I think it’s ok? ** prior to your appointment and if you’re really sensitive, try a numbing cream before you arrive.

CLEAN IS BETTER.

It’s recommended that you shower and exfoliate before your appointment to prevent ingrown hairs and promote easier hair removal.  It is also recommended to avoid all creams and oils prior to your waxing appointment.

** Due to Health Canada regulation we do not wax clients who are experiencing irritated skin such as rash, open soars or those currently menstruating.   Timing is everything so please keep this in mind when booking your appointment - We understand that accidents happen so we prefer that you cancel ahead of time to avoid disappointment.

AFTER YOU WAX.

GO LIGHT.

It’s preferred that you not overload the area waxed with lotions or perfumes because it will be sensitive from the wax.

KEEP EXTREME HEAT AT BAY.

Avoid hot showers, steam rooms, saunas, sun tanning, extreme heat workouts like Bikram and Hot Yoga for 48 hours after you wax. This way the area has time to breath and cool off.

MAINTAIN.

Once your wax has relaxed it’s important to maintain the area in order to prevent ingrown hairs and promote healthy hair growth.  We suggest gentle exfoliation and an after – wax lotions to keep your skin smooth and glowing.

We offer great after wax products.
